The project, demandedby FEE, analyzed the potential of local productive agglomerations or clusters to promote asustainable economic development of tehir respective regios and, as a consequence, of the State.

Through the study of 6agglomerations, it was possible to understand their operation dynamics and to identify obstacles to their competitiveness. The research also looked on how the clusters articulate, interact, cooperate and learn with their peers and and with other local actors such as government, business associations, credit institutions, and teaching and research institutions. This evaluation provided a comprehensive diagnosis that  guided actions for the development of each location.
