This project aims to identify the feasibility of incorporating the analysis of social, environmental and regulatory dimensions (beyond the traditional economic and technological dimensions) in the current stage of nanoscience in drugs in Brazil, and to verify if this incorporation, in a context of transposition Of patents in the research institutes for the laboratories, in the form of innovations in the market, would go through the adoption and proposition of interorganizational arrangements. For this purpose, the following specific objectives are proposed:
- Identify the data and trends of nanotechnology applications in pharmaceuticals in the world;
- To map the main activities developed and the main research institutions related to the National Network of Nanobiotechnology Cnpq / MCT, in its area of drugs;
- To identify and analyze the cases where there was an interface between the patents developed by the research laboratories of the National Nanobiotechnology Network Cnpq / MCT and new products developed by national companies;
- Identify the economic, regulatory, social and environmental impacts of these analyzed cases;
- To point out, from the analyzed cases, strategies involving interorganizational arrangements that could be used to pass the patents of research institutions to innovations in the market, with a view to encompassing besides the economic and technological logic, dimensions such as social , Environmental and regulatory.
