The project aims to raise the technological and competitive profile of the automotive industry in Rio Grande do Sul in the face of new investments in progress in the country and in the state. For that, an extensive database (industrial register with more than 250 companies, institutional register with more than 120 centers of excellence, list of demands and technological offerings) has been elaborated (and has been maintained). Later, the project should serve to consolidate a study group on the issues of the sector, as well as serve as a benchmark for entrepreneurs and researchers.
